Hundreds of thousands of hospitality worker’s jobs are at risk.
Across the country, thousands of pubs, bars, and restaurants have closed their doors again. They’re unsure when they’ll be able to reopen, or whether they’ll be able to keep paying their staff.
Those that can open are crippled by loans and restrictions with minimal support.
CURRENT GOVERNMENT SUPPORT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH
It’s not good enough for pubs, etc. and it’s not good enough for their staff.
100% of the profits of Hospitality Gin: Charity Dry go towards supporting hospitality businesses and workers.
We aim to get financial support to those who need it most.
Our key partners, The Drinks Trust and Hospitality Action have been providing hardship grants to hospitality workers who need it most since the beginning of the pandemic. At last count, they had given over £750,000 to hospitality workers facing real hardship due to lockdown.
They also provide ongoing support to people in the hospitality industry with their mental and physical wellbeing.
Other initiatives we support, such as the #CancelTheCurfew campaign, are fighting for evidence based measures to be enforced and greater financial support to businesses forced to close.
Our gin is crafted by the wizards at Cooper King Distillery in North Yorkshire. They use glass-vacuum stills to extract only the brightest flavours from carefully selected botanicals. This also ensures that every botanical shines through in the final product.
Hospitality Gin: Charity Dry's botanical list features local lavender and honey, zesty lemongrass, warming cardamom, and a big dose of juniper. These combine to form a boldly flavoured yet delicately balanced dry gin which brings true flavour to cocktails and mixed drinks, and creates a truly outstanding G&T.
Nose: Zesty lemongrass and fragrant lavender with pine from the juniper
Taste: Delicate lavender quickly builds through zingy citrus lemongrass before warming honeyed cardamom notes take the starring role.
Finish: Long & lingering. As the warmth from the spices evaporates, a toasty flavour combination of honey, lemongrass, and lavender are left on the tongue.
